The school uniform for Gorseybrigg has changed. The school colours are now bottle green, black and white. We want our children to look really smart when they represent us both in and out of school, reflecting how special and unique Gorseybrigg is!
What is the uniform?
Bottle green sweatshirt, cardigan or sweat cardigan with white polo shirt (or green polo shirt for foundation stage children only)
Black trousers (no jeans or leggings), skirt, pinafore dress, smart shorts
Bottle green or black pinafore dress
Green gingham summer dress
Black shoes (no trainers), tights, socks
What will children wear for P.E.?
We have updated our P.E. kit completely to a smarter sports shirt in green and black (which doesn’t need ironing!). This can be worn with black shorts, black tracksuit bottoms/leggings and a plain black hoody in colder weather. Children should also have black P.E. pumps/trainers in their sports kit.
Who are the school suppliers of uniform with the new logo?
The recommended supplier of the school uniform are Pinders Schoolwear in Crystal Peaks market or (www.pindersschoolwear.co.uk) online.
Can we purchase uniform without the logo on?
With the exception of the P.E. shirt, all other uniform does not need to have a school logo. We have found that Asda, Sainsburys, Tesco, Next and Marks and Spencer all stock standard black and bottle green uniform.
